Founder and CEO of Procyon Tech. DevOps engineer by profession. I spend my free time trading and mining cryptocurrencies. My personal favorite VERTCOIN.
Born and raised in Nepal I moved to the United States in 2007 for higher education. I commenced my vocation as a front-end engineer after graduating from Louisiana Tech University. My ardency for ops work has led me to further my career as a system administrator and now DevOps Engineer.
My expertise includes and is not limited to: Linux, Amazon Web services, VMware VRealize automation suite, Java, Ruby, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, chef, Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, GIT, etc.
Besides working as a DevOps engineer I am also the funder and CEO of Procyon tech, LLC.
Currently, I work as a DevOps engineer for an Internet Service Provider. Helping them migrate their Application to VMware cloud, setting up CI/CD pipelines, writing automation scripts (chef cookbooks, Rubygems, pipeline as code) and monitoring build/deployment processes are my daily activities.
In my spare time I mine and trade cryptocurrencies. The idea of peer to peer internet money without the central governing authority fascinates me. The underlying technology behind cryptocurrencies, Blockchain is revolutionary and I am making myself acclimated with it.
I am also actively involved with Procyon tech, which provides consulting services to companies in regards to DevOps and test automation. We also provide training and guidance to individuals willing to learn DevOps and test automation.
I am not very active in social media and do not own a Linked account.
